Building Doors, Doorways or Curtains With Plastic Poly Sheeting
For a lightweight, economical and safe solution to building your doors or doorways, use black flame-retardant plastic polysheeting. It comes on rolls in a variety of lengths, widths and thicknesses. You can also purchase white flame-retardant plastic sheeting.
Shredded Doorways / Curtains: For an easy to pass through doorway that also keeps your guests from seeing what's on the other side of the door, you can use scissors to shred a piece of flame-retardant black poly sheeting. Just measure out the dimensions of your doorway, then cut out an equivalent size piece of poly plastic. After you've cut the plastic, cut a fringe-like pattern of several thinner pieces vertically from the bottom up, creating a curtain-like appearance. Just make sure to leave enough uncut at the top that it won't fall apart when someone passes through.
